Chief minister Yogi Adityanath said that the state government was providing effective medical treatment facilities to 23 crore people of the state and emphasized that systems in all the Covid-19 hospitals should remain up to the mark.

He said arrangements for Covid-19 patients in L-1, L-2 and L-3 Covid hospitals in the state had been bettered.

Reviewing the Unlock-2 situation at a high level meeting at his Kalidas Marg residence here, Yogi said restrictions in containment zones should be strictly enforced but people should not face any problem in getting supply of essential commodities.

He stressed on the need of smooth functioning of Covid-19 help desks in different offices and institutions.

Pulse oximeters, infrared thermometers and sanitisers should remain available with the Covid help desks, he said.

Yogi asked additional chief secretary, medical education, to hold on the spot review of arrangements in Covid-19 hospitals and formulate an effective strategy for Kanpur Nagar.

Stressing on carrying out more tests, he said number of rapid antigen tests should also be increased and plasma therapy should be used for treatment of serious patients.

He said ventilators should remain functional in all Covid hospitals and the number of beds in all L-2 and L-3 hospitals should be increased.

He said the union government’s online OPD service e-sanjivani should be publicized extensively to ensure that the people were benefited from the facility. He said the patients of all age groups had been successfully cured in the state and case history of such successfully treated patients should be studied as this could be helpful in bringing about an improvement in recovery rate.

Such studies should be shared with high level medical institutes through video conferencing etc, he said.

EastEnders' Legendary Love Rivals Reunite As A Surprising Secret Is Revealed About Syed Wedding Episode

EastEnders' legendary love rivals John Partridge and Preeya Kalidas have come face-to-face (well, through Zoom) a decade after their wedding showdown.

The BBC looked back at a groundbreaking moment for LGBTQ+ representation in soap history on Tuesday (July 7) by repeating the second part of Syed Masood and Amira Shah's wedding double bill from New Year's Day 2010.

This episode brought Syed's (Marc Elliott) sexuality to light for his family on his wedding day, as mum Zainab Masood (Nina Wadia) discovered his long affair with Christian Clarke (John Partridge).

During an appearance on The One Show tonight, John Partridge reunited with his on-screen love rival Preeya Kalidas — who played Syed's bride-to-be Amira— over video link-up.

"I forgive you, Amira, I forgive you," John joked, with Preeya quipping: "I'm still holding resentment towards you!"

One of the most surprising moments during their reunion came when One Show guest hosts Amol Rajan and Kym Marsh revealed that John Partridge had never actually watched the wedding episode in 2010.

"I do know that because he says he never watches himself back on-screen," Preeya confirmed. "I can't believe it."

John then explained: "It's because my husband's Canadian and it was that time of the year. We go to Canada for Christmas and New Years, so we just didn't see it! We were away, and when we came back, you're up and running. You start filming again! You never get time. So, I'm watching it tonight!"

Though he watched the groundbreaking moment for the first time this week, John is fully appreciative of the impact Syed and Christian's coupling had on viewers.

"I was really, really proud of it," he shared. "Everyone from 80-year-old gran to White Van Man, we had a great response. It was a really, really difficult to tell a 'gay story' at 7.30 in the evening without offending somebody.

"What this story was about was two people who fell in love in impossible circumstances, regardless of sexuality and religion. And everyone can relate to that!"

Classic EastEnders continues next Tuesday (July 14) at 7.30pm on BBC One as the soap flashes back to the opening of The Prince Albert for Pride 2019.

Kelly Brook looks stylish in a broderie dress and denim jacket as she strolls with pal Preeya Kalidas after revealing she's gained weight during lockdown

She recently admitted she's gained a few pounds during the coronavirus lockdown but isn't 'worried' about her 'weight creeping up'.

And Kelly Brook appeared to be in good spirits as she went for a stroll with her actress pal Preeya Kalidas in London on Sunday.

The TV and radio presenter, 40, looked stylish in a pale blue broderie dress which slightly cinched at the waist and featured a pretty flared bottom.

Kelly paired her sun dress with an oversized white denim jacket and completed her laid-back ensemble with a pair of Chanel espadrilles.

The brunette beauty tied her long brown locks back into a messy bun and added a slick of pink lipstick for a splash of colour.

During her stroll Kelly even took some snaps for singer and actress Preeya, who was toting a striped sun umbrella with cream frill.

The pair could not contain their smiles as they walked down the street and chatted before heading to a small celebration for the singer's birthday.

In clips shared on Instagram, Kelly could be seen singing happy birthday in French and dancing during the festivities.

Getting into the party spirit, Kelly even blew up some balloons and appeared to be having a great time as she tucked into her baked delights.

While another clip showed the pair dancing in time with each other as they practiced their bhangra moves.

It comes after Kelly admitted she's 'not worried' about her 'weight creeping up' and declared 'diets shouldn't be about deprivation', after revealing she shed a whopping two stone in March.

While the glamour model has been keeping busy by exercising at home, her diet consists of 'healthy, low-calorie meals' with sweet treats such as popcorn and homemade fruit lollies.

The media personality has been candid about her weight fluctuating, with the bombshell slimming down to a size 10-12 after going to a size 16.

On her current figure, Kelly told new! Magazine: 'I'm a real foodie and enjoy cooking. I wasn't surprised at all to see my weight creep up a little over the last few weeks.

'[I've gained] a few pounds, but I'm not worried. I know I can lean on the SlimFast 3.2.1. Plan to deal with my weight loss ups and downs, so I can get back on track. It's easy and it works. Diets shouldn't be about deprivation - they need to be sustainable after all.

'From my point of view, being home all the time is very different to my normal routine, which I've had to adapt to. I can't complain - I'm healthy and that's been number one during this period.'

In a bid to stay active, the Piranha 3D actress has created designated areas in her home for Pilates and yoga, goes out for walks in the city, and enjoys frequent trampolining sessions.

Kelly, who has also built a 'little coffee shop and gin bar' at her Kent country house, has also started to experiment with batch cooking soups and meals to adhere to her busy lifestyle, which sees her present Heart Radio's drivetime show with Jason King.

All in the details: Kelly added a pretty silver necklace and simple earrings to her look

The One Big Happy star recently detailed her two-stone loss in an interview with HELLO! Magazine, insisting her new frame made her feel 'sexy again'.

Reflecting on an incident when photographers told her to 'breathe in' on the red carpet, she confessed she had been lying to herself about her weight gain.

She recalled: 'I crept up to a size 16. When my jeans started to feel tight I thought they'd shrunk in the wash.

Making moves: Kelly and Preeya showed off their skills as they practiced their Bhangra moves

What's so funny? The brunette beauty appeared very entertained by her friend

Joking around: She put on an animated display during the photoshoot

'I definitely didn't feel my healthiest or most beautiful, and I wanted to feel good again.'

Insisting that at a size 12 she is now her 'size sexy', Kelly went on to explain that her weight means nothing to her boyfriend Jeremy Parisi.

She explained: 'He loves me whatever my size. He didn't even notice I'd gained weight. He doesn't care about things like that.

'He just likes that I sit down and enjoy eating with him. I'm not one of those girls who pushes a salad around her plate.'

All sorted: The women used the umbrella to cover their heads as they walked down the street
