2.SBI General Insurance: PC Kandpal MD, CEO

3.NHPC signed MoU With GEDCOL

• NHPC has inked a MoU with the Green Energy Development Corporation of Odisha Limited (GEDCOL).

• It will form a joint venture for developing floating solar energy projects in the state of Odisha with an initial capacity of 500 MW. • The parties also agreed to explore further postpone of installing floating solar projects after joint identification in subsequent periods in Odisha

4.South Korea launched first military satellite

• Space X has launched South Korea's first military communications satellite into space.

7.CBIC, CBDT signed agreement

24.Arun Kumar nominated as Vice-Chairman of UIC

· Arun Kumar has been nominated to be the vice-chairman of the Security Platform of the Paris-based Union Internationale Des Chemins/International Union of Railways (UIC).

He is the Director General of the Railway Protection Force (RPF).

•A farmer in eastern India has found a yellow turtle which experts say is the product of albinism.

The creature's colour is due to albinism.
